Roblox The Forge is a Roblox mining, crafting, and combat-forging game with weapon-smithing inspired mechanics, where players mine, refine, and forge powerful weapons using ores collected from the world to keep progressing, strengthening, and advancing their builds. The player does not fight with a pet or brush, but with crafted weapons such as swords, axes, hammers, and enchanted blades, which are created at the forge and used on the field as part of the exploration and combat tasks against enemies and mineral guardians. Stages progress through various themed regions, each with “ore zones.” Some have “normal” and “rare crystal” variants. At the beginning, small resources are provided, but through mining and hard work, the treasure of gold and materials grows. From there, you can increase your forging power, change weapon styles, and develop your equipment to higher rarity levels. This game is developed by The Forge development team and released in october 2025 and recently updated. The total number of visits are about 35M+ and more than 154,000+ players added it to their favorite games list. Server size is 20 and Genre is mining / forging RPG.

Pickaxe progression

[edit | edit source]

Why pickaxe matters: each pickaxe has numeric mine power (how much ore you break per swing / required hits), speed, luck (drop-chance to rare ore), and rune capacity or special passive. Upgrading pickaxes lets you reach deeper zones and increases your gold/time efficiency.

Condensed progression:

  1. Starter / Wooden / Stonewake — basic, only to farm early gold.
  2. Iron → Mythril — midgame; Mythril commonly cited as the first “big jump.”
  3. Arcane / Forgotten / Unique event pickaxes — these add large luck or rune slots; used to farm high-value ores & runes. (forgewiki.org)
  4. Demonic / God-tier / Secret biome pickaxes — endgame; providethe highestt mine power, many rune slots, and passives enabling access to top-tier ores.

Active The Forge codes

These are the working the forge codes:

  • 300K!: 1x Luck Totem and 5x Rerolls (NEW)
  • 100KLIKES: 10x Rerolls
  • 200K!: 5x Rerolls

Ores — list, rarities, values, and spawn zones

[edit | edit source]

Core idea: ores are grouped by biome/depth and rarity. Deeper biomes (e.g., Volcanic Depths, Sunken Cells, etc.) have rarer crystals (Blue, Crimson, Magenta, Rainbow) that multiply forging outcomes and sell for far more gold. Farming specific nodes + elite enemies yields best returns.

Representative ore examples (condensed):

  • Stone / Copper (early) — very common, low sell value.
  • Iron / Silver / Gold (mid) — moderate value, used for many weapon recipes.
  • Crimson / Blue / Green / Orange / Cyan Crystals (rare/epic) — spawn in mid-to-deep zones; higher rarity multipliers and forging buffs.
  • Rainbow / Magenta / Legendary nodes (very rare) — appear in secret locations or from elites/bosses; used for top-tier forges.

Forging mechanics — step-by-step + how quality is decided

[edit | edit source]

High-level flow:

  1. Smelt / combine materials — choose the ore(s) you’ll use to craft the base. Higher-rarity ores increase base tier.
  2. Forging mini-game — usually several micro-stages: hammer hits (timing/accuracy), shaping (follow pattern), quench/temper (timing to achieve better stat roll), then final reroll chances (using rerolls or special items). Player performance improves base weapon tier and stat roll ranges.
  3. Socket runes / apply essences — after forging you can socket runes or apply essences to change weapon behavior (elemental, lifesteal, critical, etc.). Runes may be limited by slot count.

How quality/tier is decided:

  • Base ore rarity sets the possible tier ceiling.
  • Player input skill in the mini-games affects final quality (higher perfect inputs → higher chance at rarer prefix/suffix rolls).
  • Rerolls / totems can re-roll results (spend reroll currency), allowing you to chase perfect stat combinations.

Weapon families, notable weapons, and meta notes

[edit | edit source]

There are multiple weapon types (each with different base speeds, ranges, and best rune/essence pairings). Common categories : Greatswords, Great Axes, Daggers, Gauntlets, Colossal Swords, Straight Swords, Katanas. Each family has a different role (AoE, single-target burst, fast DPS, utility).

Tier Weapons Why They're Here
S Tier Dragon Slayer, Skull Crusher, Scythe, Double Battle Axe Highest DPS, strong AoE or burst, best for boss & elite farming
A Tier Great Sword, Long Sword, Crusader Sword, Hammer, Uchigatana, Tachi Great base stats, good speed/damage balance, strong with runes
B Tier Straight Swords (Rapier/Falchion/Cutlass), Gauntlets/Boxing Gloves, Daggers Fast or versatile, but lower range/damage; needs good runes
C Tier Novelty or low-stat weapons Playable but outclassed by higher tiers
D Tier Low-damage weapons with poor scaling Weak options; not recommended for progression

The Forge – Pickaxe Tier List

[edit | edit source]
Tier Pickaxes Why They're Here
S Tier Arcane, Magma, Demonic High mine power, great luck, many rune slots — fastest progression
A Tier Lightite, Mythril, Platinum Strong mining stats and luck, excellent mid→late-game value
B Tier Titanium, Uranium, Cobalt Decent stats but not as efficient as A/S tier options
C Tier Gold, Stonewake’s Early-game only; replace soon
D Tier Iron, Bronze, Stone Starter-tier, very weak compared to upgrades

Runes & Essences — complete overview

[edit | edit source]
  • Runes: socketable modifiers — add elemental procs (burn, poison), on-hit effects (stun, slow), or passive increases (crit, life steal). Runes drop from elite enemies, chests, and sometimes are craftable/found in deep biomes.
  • Essences: used to alter or upgrade weapons (often consumed). They can be farmed from bosses or specialized ore nodes.

Economy: sell vs keep, best farming loops

[edit | edit source]
  • Early game: sell most forged weapons — prioritize gold to buy pickaxe upgrades and rune slots. Sell low-to-mid weapons to fund pickaxe upgrades.
  • Mid → late: keep rare top-tier weapons that synergize with your runes/essences for boss runs / elite farming, because they greatly increase clear speed (and therefore gold/hour).
  • Best gold/hour routes: farm high-value ore nodes in Volcanic Depths / Sunken Cells, kill elites in those zones, then forge using high-rarity ore (if your forging skill is high enough) and sell. Use luck totems or codes before big sessions.

Bosses / elites — loot & tactics

[edit | edit source]
  • Each biome has elites and bosses with unique drop tables (runic shards, rare essences, secret pickaxes). Bosses often drop recipe items or very rare ore chunks. Farming bosses with the right weapon + rune synergy is the fastest way to net rare runes/essences.

Advanced strategies / pro tips

[edit | edit source]
  • Optimize pickaxe → biome: bring a pickaxe that gives enough luck to make the long travel to a biome worthwhile — otherwise you waste time.
  • Practice forging offline: if you can, practice the mini-games with cheap ore to learn timings before risking expensive materials. Good forging skill multiplies profit.
  • Use reroll windows efficiently: redeem codes right before long sessions for extra rerolls; totems can multiply luck during boss farm windows.
  • Join the official Discord / wiki: for instant code drops, hotfix notes, and community farms.[2]
