Candy Corn is a special and a limited-time currency in Grow a Garden that only appears during the Halloween event introduced in the Ghoul Garden Update. It’s the main currency for the spooky season, letting the players collect and spend it on exclusive Halloween-themed rewards like spooky seeds, rare pets, costumes, decorations, and event tools.

During this event, the entire game world gets a festive Halloween makeover—complete with a Witch’s Cauldron, Jack-O-Lantern NPCs, and fun seasonal challenges. Players can earn Candy Corn mostly by donating crops to the Witch’s Cauldron or by interacting with the Pumpkin NPC, which shows up from time to time.

What makes Candy Corn truly special is that it is available in limited numbers. Once the Halloween event ends, you can’t earn or use them anymore, and all exclusive Halloween shop items disappear until next year. That’s why it’s important to farm as much Candy Corn as possible while the event is active.

You can trade your Candy Corn in the Ghoul Garden Shop to unlock unique items and rewards that aren’t available anywhere else in the game. For collectors and competitive players, it’s one of the most valuable currencies of the year.[1]

[edit]

1. Witch’s Cauldron (Witch’s Brew / Witch’s Cauldron Leaderboard)

[edit]
  • Players donate crops / fruits toward filling a cauldron on the event island.[2]
  • Once the cauldron reaches 100%, rewards are given out.[2]
  • Everyone who contributed gets Candy Corn (typically 10–20), with top contributors possibly receiving extra rewards (spooky eggs, pumpkin crates) too.[2]
  • After distribution, the cauldron goes on a cooldown (about 2 minutes) before donations reopen.[1]

2. Jack-O-Lantern (Pumpkin NPC)

[edit]
  • Every 2 hours, a Jack-O-Lantern NPC spawns near the witch.
  • You can submit Halloween-type plants (or mutated plants) to it for a random reward, often Candy Corns (quantity depends on plant rarity) or sometimes nothing.[2]
  • The NPC stays for about 5 minutes before disappearing.
