How To Get All Zone 2 Prizes in the Halloween Spotlight

From Tigerjek

The Halloween Spotlight Event on Roblox is filled with hidden treasures, mysterious puzzles, and limited-time cosmetics. Once players unlock Zone 2 in the Codex hub, they can collect three special items — the Calamitous Candelabra, Horns of the Mycomancer, and Phantasmal Fox. This guide explains exactly how to get all Zone 2 prizes step-by-step, including how many Runes and Keys you’ll need, where to find each collectible, and tips for farming event currency quickly.

What Is Zone 2 in the Halloween Spotlight?

[edit | edit source]
How To Get All Zone 2 Prizes in the Halloween Spotlight!

Zone 2 is the second Codex area of the Halloween Spotlight hub world. Unlocking it costs three Runes, which are obtained by completing Rune Quests in participating Spotlight partner games. Once opened, Zone 2 introduces darker fog-covered paths, doll-placement puzzles, and invisible bridges that hide three collectible prizes:

  1. Calamitous Candelabra
  2. Horns of the Mycomancer
  3. Phantasmal Fox (Key-tier reward, costs 3 Keys)

Each prize is hidden behind unique puzzles and exploration challenges that fit the Halloween theme perfectly.

Before you start — key mechanics and what to bring

[edit | edit source]
  • Runes unlock areas (Zone 2 costs 3 Runes).
  • Keys unlock the elite / Key-tier items inside areas (Phantasmal Fox is a 3-Key Key-tier item).
  • Collect runes/keys by completing the small Spotlight quests inside participating games (each participating game usually gives 1 Rune quest and 1 Key quest). If you need fast Rune/Key pickup, play the easier Spotlight partners (many guides list beginner-friendly games).

How to unlock Zone 2

[edit | edit source]
  1. Collect 3 Runes from Spotlight partner games (complete the Rune quests shown in the HUD/Codex). Recommended quick farms: Dress to Impress, Driving Empire, Restaurant Tycoon 3, and other easy Spotlight games mentioned in event guides. (Pro Game Guides)
  2. In the hub, open your Codex and spend 3 Runes to unlock the second area (Codex → choose the 2nd path → walk the path while the Runes are in your inventory so it registers).

Zone 2 — full walkthroughs for each prize

[edit | edit source]

1) Calamitous Candelabra (basic item)

[edit | edit source]
  • Where: After entering Zone 2, follow the path left from the portal and cross one bridge. At a fork (statue between left bridge and right path), take the right path.
  • Puzzle: You’ll see a cloud of blue smoke on a ledge — follow the smoke and it reveals a hidden path across a ravine (invisible platforms / fogged bridges). Keep following the invisible/fog path and you’ll arrive at the Calamitous Candelabra. Simply reach the object to collect it.
  • Notes / tips: Move slowly on the invisible platforms (jumping/platform timing). If you fall you can re-enter the foggy path from the fork.

2) Horns of the Mycomancer (basic item)

[edit | edit source]
  • Where: In Zone 2, go to the fork in the foggy path (the same region near Calamitous). At that fork turn left and follow the dirt road.
  • Puzzle (doll-altar):
    1. Find the first spooky doll somewhere along the dirt roads — pick it up.
    2. There’s an altar on the right with a slot — place that doll on the altar.
    3. Repeat for the other two dolls (each doll sits down its own road — follow each dirt path to find them).
    4. Once all three dolls are placed, the door behind the altar opens; enter and follow the path to where the Horns of the Mycomancer sits — touch/collect it.
  • Notes: Some dolls spawn with small jump scares or are hidden on tiny ledges; be ready to platform.

3) Phantasmal Fox (Key-tier, costs Keys)

[edit | edit source]
  • Cost: 3 Keys (this is a Key-tier / elite reward).
  • Where & steps: After you claim Horns of the Mycomancer, continue past that area: look for a wall with a Key slot (or a place where Keys can be used) and another invisible/fog bridge that takes you to a further altar area.
  • Puzzle (4 dolls into 4-slot altar):
    1. There are four dolls scattered around the area — collect them all. One of the dolls/locations may have a jumpscare, some require using an invisible platform to reach, and one involves a small jumping obby.
    2. Cross the fogged/invisible bridge(s) (watch your footing) and locate the 4-slot altar. Place each doll into a slot.
    3. After placing all four dolls, the altar is ready — spend 3 Keys at the altar to unlock the Phantasmal Fox. Collect it.
  • Tips: If you’re short on Keys, farm Key quests in games with easier Key tasks (see “Best places to farm” below). Some videos show the exact doll locations if you prefer a visual walkthrough.

Best places to farm Runes and Keys

[edit | edit source]
  • Easiest quick Rune/Key games (frequently mentioned by guides): Dress to Impress, Driving Empire, Restaurant Tycoon 3, GEF. These are commonly cited as quick/low-skill ways to clear event tasks.
  • Specific game tips (examples):
    • Doors (Trick or Treat mode): Rune may be “Trick or Treat at X doors” — knock on doors and collect candies; Key often requires hitting a higher milestone (e.g., reach room N or complete specified Trick or Treat tasks).
    • Epic Minigames: Many Rune/Key tasks are mini-quests inside minigames (collect spawn items or complete specific sub-tasks). If you see a glowing gold objective mid-game, pick it up — the guides show spawn locations.
    • Banana Eats / Dead Rails / other favorites: These are moderate difficulty but have clearly described objectives. Use those pages for each game’s exact Rune/Key conditions.

Troubleshooting and common glitches

[edit | edit source]
  • If a path or puzzle doesn't register as completed, re-join the hub and re-equip the Cursed Compass from your Codex (the HUD compass reveals which quests/games are incomplete). Many guides advise joining from the hub server (not from the external game) if the events aren’t tracking properly.
  • Invisible bridges can be tricky — move slowly, use jump key timing, and if you fall, re-enter from the last visible fork. Videos show exact platform lines if you need to replicate placement. [1]
