Build Ur Base is a Roblox base-building game with tower defense mechanics, where players build a base using weapons and blocks to defend against waves of enemies. This game is developed by High Quality Games and released in August 2025 and recently updated. The total number of visits are about 97.7M+ and more than 4.5 million players added in list of their favorite game. Server size is 6 and Genre is simulation. The more enemies you defeat, the more in-game money you can earn, which allows you to upgrade your base, buy new weapons, and prepare for tougher boss waves. The game also gives free crates periodically every few hours, uses a “friend boost” system, and has a gifting system. As of now, there are no active codes (promo codes) for Build Ur Base, because the game currently lacks a code system. [1]

Here is a detailed suggestion on best weapons, defenses, and block types (with DPS / HP values).

Blocks & Hit Points (HP)

These are the structural / “tank” blocks you build your base with (walls, floors, etc.):

  • Block: 25 HP
  • Stone Block: 50 HP
  • Metal Block: 200 HP
  • Steel Block: 250 HP
  • Seat 1000 HP
  • Lunar trophy 1000 HP (lunar event)

  • Lunar Block: 3,000 HP(lunar event)
  • Torch 5000 HP
  • Laser Doors have twice the HP compared to their base material blocks.
  • Decorative blocks (windows, stairs, wedges) often share HP with their “material counterpart.” Spikes have HP same as the block but also deal damage around them.[2]

Tips & Strategy

From guides & articles:

  • Protect Your Core: Surround your core (heart or central point) with high-HP blocks to act as a buffer for your DPS defenses.
  • Use spikes adjacent to your core or on sides/top to deal extra damage and slow enemies.
  • Stack heavy turrets near defense points (grouping them) gives better DPS coverage.
  • Place plasma / laser turrets at mid height: not too low (easily destroyed) and not too high (out of enemy reach).
  • Always fill base gaps (holes or empty spaces) with decor blocks, spikes, or stairs to slow enemy movement and prevent weak points.
  • Focus on a balance between block durability (HP) and DPS output so defenses can last longer while dealing damage.

Best Base Design / Strategy Tips

  1. Layered Defense Layout Use multiple “rings” of defenses around the core:
    • Outer layer: blocks (barriers) to slow enemies
    • Next: spikes behind or inside walls to damage and weaken
    • Inner/middle layers: turrets and active defenses that can shoot over or through earlier layers [3]
  2. Protect the Core (Foundation) The foundation is critical; once it is destroyed, the run ends. Prioritize its protection with strong blocks, overlapping ranges of turrets, etc.[4]
  3. Placement of Turrets / Weapons Position turrets so they have overlapping fields of fire, especially at choke points or where enemies are forced to pass (funnels). Also, place stronger weapons at inner layers for the boss waves. [5]
  4. Upgrade Path & Resource Management Prioritize upgrades that give the biggest impact (e.g. moving from stone/metal blocks to lava/magma or lunar blocks), buying stronger weapons when available rather than many weak ones. Save money for restocks or essential items.
  5. Use of Crates / Free Rewards The game has a crate system (wooden, iron, gold) that gives weapons, gear etc. Even if free crates are weaker, they help early progress. Keep track of timers so you don’t miss free crates.
  6. AFK / Auto-Wave Strategy Once your base is stable, enabling auto-waves (if the game supports) helps farm resources without always manually playing. Many players build bases that can survive unattended for a while, so they accumulate money over longer periods. [6]
