Gameplay & Mechanics
The core loop is built around three phases: Run → Hide → Fight.
Here’s how each phase works:

Other mechanics and features:
- Objectives: Survivors sometimes have minor tasks (e.g. “sit on bench”, “wash hands”) depending on the map.
- Items & Consumables: • Bandage, flashbangs, banana peels, etc. used to help survival or to slow the killer. • Gamepasses allow permanent upgrades (e.g. “Push”, “Double Chance”) or convenience perks.
- Controls (PC example) Deltia's Gaming+1: • W/A/S/D = move • C = crouch • X = stand / uncrouch • R = reload / interact • Q = ragdoll (used to fake being downed as a decoy)
- Elimination / Spectator Mode: Once you are caught, you become a spectator and can watch the rest of the match. [1]

Tips & Strategies
- Movement matters: In the Run stage, avoid straight paths or repetitive running. Change direction, be unpredictable.
- Hide smartly: Don’t hide where everyone will look first (e.g. behind doors or closets). Use small gaps, shadowed corners, or obscure spots.
- Avoid large groups: Clusters of survivors are easier to detect. Spread out, especially during Hide.
- Save consumables: Use items (flashbangs, peels) only when necessary—e.g. to escape or stall the killer.
- Know the map: Familiarity with maps, escape paths, hiding spots, and objective locations gives an edge.
- Teamwork in Fight stage: If you survive until the final confrontation, coordinate with other survivors to overwhelm the killer.
- As a killer: Check common hiding zones, listen for noises, and don’t linger too long in one area. Pressure survivors early.[2]
